Our FJ Cruiser MAX is the very best way to have both sides of storage in your FJ Cruiser. This unit will hold a lot of material, both hanging on the outside and inside. It stands at 11.8 inches tall and, at the top, opens 23.4 inches wide, widening out to 27 inches. It is 6.875 of an inch away from the wall of your FJ wheel well area.

This unit bolts in at the top using the grocery hook bolt hole. Drill into the plastic at the bottom to install four bolts. This creates a very sturdy storage unit made from 11-gauge USA carbon steel.

Our design features ovals and holes. The ovals will hold USA Military style Molle bags. The holes are spaced 2.00 inches apart from side to side and 1.00 inches from top to bottom. These holes are designed to accept a 5/16 bolt or M6 rivnuts.

We do not offer any color choices for the economy menu on the MAX. All parts, racks, and insert plates are matte black.

Mounting Type (Wheel Well Area): What mount type do you prefer? A no-drill mount for a bottom mount is Velcro No Drilling (VEL) (industrial Velcro), but it's not very secure. The bolt-in option requires drilling (BI), so you must drill into the plastic wheel well area. Both the Bolt and Velcro Kits (BV) are available for mounting.

Nameplate: To expedite the process, we have included this section on the Max: all nameplates are matte black. The nameplate options are Orange Boxx, FJ Cruiser, MOLLE, Trail Teams, TRD, or Toyota.

Do you have or plan to install an Over Max? This is a crucial question. It is part of the installation kit.

This Max storage system allows you, the end user, to change your mind later about what custom or stock plate is in your Max-MDPS, including what colors or backing plate will really set it off. Nameplate kits are available.
