Where Did Orange Boxx come from?

We began as a small venture, choosing to stay intimate rather than expand recklessly. My passion for fabrication ignited at 13 in my grandfather's race car shop. There, under the guidance of my father and grandfather, I discovered the art of using construction board to craft patterns, which we then transformed into sturdy metal panels—a process that feels almost magical as raw materials come to life.

To further hone my skills, I enrolled in a tech school where I immersed myself in CAD design and programming. This education led me to a position at a box design company, where I spent 15 years refining my craft. My love for off-roading grew when I acquired an FJ Cruiser and joined a local club called NCFJ. In this community, a friend and I took a leap of faith and founded Orange Boxx Fabrication. I had previously designed several FJ Molle panels, which sold well among club members, sparking our entrepreneurial spirit.

As word of our products spread, so did our exposure, which has been one of the main reasons we’ve kept our advertising to a minimum. We’ve always preferred to grow organically, through recommendations from satisfied customers rather than aggressive marketing. Our design philosophy remains rooted in the principles I learned years ago; although we’ve streamlined the process with modern CAD technology, the craftsmanship is still at the heart of what we do.

We engineer every piece of equipment we create with the same durability as a tank destined for another planet. I have a deep-seated aversion to seeing discarded junk littering our landfills, so we make a conscious effort to ensure our designs are built to last—crafted to withstand not just a few uses, but the test of time. We take pride in knowing that our work contributes positively to the world, with a focus on sustainability and quality.
